The fans are at all times to keep cool the computer. I would not say that they are very strong, in my opinion, only a low sound decibels. The tower of the computer is about 3 feet from head to the floor. Because the best way to explain it as a cleaner in low power and low vacuum running in the next room with the door open for the next room.
